The clinic was founded in 1989 by Dr Sylvie Huot. A few years later, in 1994, Dr Nicole Huot joined the clinic to form the "Huot & Huot Optometrists" clinic with her sister. Since 2006, two optometrists, Dr. Ana Marinova and Dr. Geneviève Maher Laporte, have joined the team to meet the expectations of our growing family. Today, Dr. Sylvie Huot and her colleagues continue to provide the same excellent eye care that patients expect. Our team will take care of your oculo-visual needs ranging from eye exams to the selection of glasses with the help of our partners at LensCrafters.

Dr. Sylvie Huot obtained her doctorate in optometry in 1983 specializing in contact lenses.
Since then, she has been continuously training to be at the cutting edge of new technologies and knowledge in optometry. She is dedicated to her patients, always empathizing and listening, and continually looking for the most appropriate solution for them.

Anna Marinova obtained her doctorate in optometry from the University of Montreal in 2001 and has completed an external internship at the Vision Institute of Canada in Toronto.
Since then, the practice of optometry has become her passion. She joined Huot & Huot Optométristes in 2006 and has become known for taking the well-being of each patient she sees very seriously

Originally from New Brunswick, Dr. Geneviève Maher-Laporte OD completed her doctorate in optometry at the University of Montreal in 2013.
During her training, she completed a three-month internship specializing in eye health at Dan & Hoffman MD Eye Centers in Florida. She also participated in a humanitarian mission as a student in Ecuador. Dr. Maher Laporte OD joined the team of Huot & Huot Optometrists in 2013.
